What is Recovery Through The Light House, Inc?
The vision of Recovery Through The Light House, Inc. is to provide transitional housing for homeless females without children.
Who we help
The mission is to proudly serve young women ages 17-26 years old experiencing homelessness. Special care provided for:
- Individuals being released from incarceration with no place to go.
- Individuals aging out of foster care or newly emancipated.
- Individuals experiencing homelessness as a result of trauma or physical, mental and emotional abuse.
Organizations may contact us if they have experience working with young women and homelessness.
Our services
Our Story
Founded in 2005 by Ms. Pamela Rice to help other young women with a history of trauma and abuse. The vision was given to Ms. Rice to provide transitional housing for homeless females without children. Recovery Through the Light House, Inc. was birthed from that vision. Ms. Rice realized through her own experiences there is a significant need to help guide, nurture and encourage women so that they can triumph and recover through the light.
Recovery Through the Light House, Inc. envisions a community where individuals will feel free to seek and receive the tools and resources they need to create a better way of life.
Mission Statement
The mission is to proudly serve young women ages 17-26 years old experiencing homelessness.
RTTLH will serve young women seeking a safe environment for transitional housing.
RTTLH will assist the young women with reintegrating back into the community by providing a caring, compassionate, and nurturing environment.
Our goal is to help them reach their full potential by becoming more proficient through positive social, economic, spiritual, moral, and educational foundations.

RTTLH will offer programs to help residents achieve their personal goals.
Our vision is to build the young women up through encouragement and assist them in working towards individualized goals leading them to a more successful and productive life.
Volunteer Opportunities
Recovery Through the Light House, Inc. is currently in the process of creating funding for its initial projects and needs volunteers to assist in this monumental task.
Recovery Through the Light House, Inc. has several volunteer positions to perform services to help us achieve both our vision and mission.
